event-waiver

1. Assumption of Risk

The Participant understands that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, posing, use of photography equipment, and potential hazards at the event location. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks of injury, loss, or damage arising out of participation.

2. Release of Liability

The Participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges:

• The photographers and models participating in the Event,
• Americana Collective,
• Any and all event sponsors, partners, and affiliated organizations,
• The owners and operators of the event location(s),

from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or other loss.

3. Consent to Photography and Use of Images

The Participant acknowledges and agrees as follows:

• Photographers and models are free to create, edit, and distribute images captured during the Event.
• Americana Collective, event sponsors, partners, and locations are granted a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the images for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, editorial, or promotional use, in any media now known or developed in the future.
• No compensation will be provided for the use of these images.

4. Mutual Protection

• Photographers are not liable for how images are later used by models, Americana Collective, sponsors, or third parties.
• Models are not liable for how their likeness appears in lawful usage of images as described above.

5. Acknowledgment of Understanding

By signing below, the Participant acknowledges that they have read and understood this Agreement, that they are at least 18 years of age (or accompanied by a parent/guardian if under 18), and that they voluntarily agree to its terms.
