NASHVILLE PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
NASHVILLE PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
ABOUT ZAKKSHANE PHOTO
My name is Zakk Shane Miller. I’m a musician, a photographer, and a girl-dad with an absurdly high dose of ADD. I love album art, that’s the first creative space that I really fell in love with. I remember the days of reading every single page of the booklets that came inside of CD cases. I loved reading the song lyrics, looking at behind the scenes photographs, and really judging a book by its cover so-to-speak. business.
I started my photography journey as a wedding photography and did that for ten years. I took a break for about a year to re-calibrate and get re-inspired but I’m back and more creatively fueled than any other point of my career.
I grew up in the swampy guts of Louisiana and finally made the life-long dream of moving to the Nashville area a reality. The culture of Middle TN is like none-other. The amount of creative energy here is so refreshing and challenging.
I specialize in studio photography with a high focus on working with musicians and singers. However, I absolutely LOVE fashion photography, editorial, and commercial photography.

STAND OUT WITH CREATIVE PORTRAITS IN NASHVILLE, TN
The term “portrait photography” is honestly the most cringy thing on this side of eternity. However, in a world full of algorithms and metrics, creative people have had to adapt to using such cheesy commercial terminology. I guess that’s just part of today’s culture eh?
Being a Portrait Photographer in Nashville, TN is honestly a dream come true. I never thought I’d get to work with such incredible models, companies, musicians, and singers. The creative culture of Nashville is something like none-other.
How do you stand out in Nashville, TN? In a town so surprisingly small for the insane amount of traffic and creative saturation, it can be a challenge, especially if done wrong. This is why I love to plan out these sessions in heavy detail to ensure that we can make your creative portraits something that will stand out against the masses of others trying to make their voice heard. So let’s really put our heads together to create something amazing.
By default, I’ll typically work alone, but depending on the session and budget constraints, we can look at assembling a team for hair, makeup, and other people that will make your life easier and your Nashville Portrait Session even better.
